About and FAQs
- Location?
- Our tours are based out of the Bolton Field Airport. The address is 2000 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228. When driving into Bolton Field, call us at +1 (614) 407-4370. We will provide additional instructions from there. If we don’t answer, please make yourself comfortable in the main terminal until we finish the previous tour.
- Tour Length?
- You can expect to be in the air for the advertised length of your tour, which may include taxiing, arriving, and departing from the airport. We guarantee you will see all attractions of the route, regardless of airport operations.
- Number of Passengers?
- You may bring up to 3 people. Children under 2 must ride on the lap of a passenger, per FAA requirements. Children over 2 may not ride on the lap of a passenger.
- Weight and balance?
- Your party must weigh less than 750 lbs combined. The maximum seat weight is 300 lbs. Please notify us beforehand if you have passengers that are near the weight limit, so we may plan our fuel accordingly.
- Weather Cancellations?
- The pilot will determine if any rides are cancelled. Your purchase will be refunded (or we'll try to reschedule).
- Other Cancellations?
- Refunds will be issued up to 48 hours before your tour. Afterward, there will be no refunds, since the tour likely won't be rebooked by somebody else. If the tour is scheduled less than 48 hours in advance, then refunds will be permitted on the same day of booking, unless it's within 4 hours of the scheduled flight.
- Rescheduling?
- We're happy to reschedule to another open slot. Please note we may have limited availability due to traveling pilots.
- Ticket Resale?
- Do not buy resold tickets! They will likely be rejected. People have been sold fake tickets in the past. We'll do our best to prevent this activity, and it's one of the reasons we ask for your ID and credit card upon arrival.
- Late Policy?
- Please show up early! Preferably at least 15 minutes. If you're late and we have a busy day, we may have to reschedule or cancel. This prevents tours starting late for everyone else.
- Our Pilots?
- Our pilots are trained and certified to standards set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration. We are extremely selective with our hiring criteria.
